The A.M.E. tradition frames ministry around spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and environmental need — feeding, clothing, housing, employment, care for the vulnerable, and economic advancement.
Greater Mt. Zion’s doors open on more than Sunday. Through the week, the church and its partners work on the practical needs of Waycross families: a pantry shelf, a utility bill, a ride to an appointment, a résumé, a tutor, a health screening, a place to hold a public meeting.
